Description
Ananta, The Eternal — by Ragamala Dance Company (choreographed by Aparna Ramaswamy) ,This new evening-length work weaves together body, memory, desire and devotion. Sisters Aparna Ramaswamy and Ashwini Ramaswamy appear in their first duet evening, exploring the eternal relationship between deity and devotee — the sacred moment of seeing the divine image with one’s own eyes. Live musicians from Chennai accompany the dancers, expanding the dialogue of improvisation and tradition.
